LEONARD, David John - age 69, died Sunday, July 19, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Visitation 5-8pm Friday, July 24, 2020 and 11am Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the funeral home.
Father Thomas Firestone officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
David was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 23, 1950, the son of Frank and Pauline (Emmendorfer) Leonard. On February 28, 1976, he married Rebecca Delgado in Mt. Morris at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He was the president of The Arrowhead Club for many years. David enjoyed golfing, loved riding Harley motorcycles, playing cards and vacationing in Mexico, Above all, David loved being with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are wife, Rebecca;
children, Chris (Susan), Melissa (Eric), Nicholas (Rebecca) and Nathan (Talia);
grandchildren, Trask, Colin, Brenna, Mateo, Madilyn, Edwin, Gabby and Charles;
sisters, May Burnham and Angie Chambers;
and brothers, Bernard Leonard and Paul Leonard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Mary Brall, James Leonard, Pearl Laduke and Tom Leonard.
