MYERS, Michael Theodore – of Cheboygan, MI, formerly of Davison, MI, age 63, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Pat Thomas officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Thursday, June 27, 2019 and 10-11 AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation or the American Lung Association, in Mike’s memory.
Mike was born in Flint, MI on September 18, 1955, son of the late William and Evelyn (Pipkin) Myers. He married Denise French on June 10, 1978. Mike retired from General Motors Buick in 2006 after 22 years of service. He was the owner of J.P.’s Plumbing in Davison, MI for over 30 years. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed boating and skiing. He loved rock and roll music and attending concerts. Mike’s smile, humor and quick wit made him the life of every party. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Denise; 3 children, Natasha (Chad) Jones, Alisha McCabe and Michael (Emi) Myers, Jr.; 5 grandchildren, Jayce and Ella Jones, Noah and Sienna McCabe and Aria Myers; twin brother, William Myers; sister, Linda (Jeff) Meid; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Braedon Jones.
