FRASE, Clara F. - Of Flint, age 88, died Monday, April 22, 2019 at Charter Senior Living of Davison.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Pete Scribner officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a toy for Toys-For-Tots.
Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday and 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Clara was born in Flint on June 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Vincent and Alice (Wilander) Hanel. She married Donald Frase on May 26, 1951. Clara enjoyed a multitude of activities, especially dancing. She lived life to the fullest, filled with the love of family and her many friends.
Surviving are 5 children, Gary and wife Leslie of Flint, Jim and wife Debbie of Burton, Brenda and husband Mike Chandler of Linden, Laurie and husband Roy Mundy of Davison, Karen and husband John Bunker of Millington;
9 grandchildren, Samantha, Dan, Nick, Katie, Allison, Spencer, Aliesa, Aaron, Kris, Jason, Jennifer and Josh;
10 great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, brothers, Robert and James Hanel; sister, Elaine Godby; parents, Vincent and Alice Hanel.
