ADAMS, Joan Beverly- of Davison, age 77, passed away on July 22, 2013 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, July 26, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. James Kummer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM to 8 PM Thursday and one hour prior to service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Joan was born in Flint, MI on March 18, 1936, daughter of the late Carl and Florence (Keefer) Vickerman. She married Gerald Adams on February 28, 1959 he preceded her in death on September 12, 1990. Joan loved spending time with her family and friends.
Joan is survived by her children, Jerry (Tonya) Adams, Carla (Randy) Minto, Kurt Adams; grandchildren, Aharon Adams, Ashley (Rob) Soethe, Nicholas (Jackie) Minto; great-grandchildren,Trenton, Dylen, Beckham; companion Ken Bright; sisters-in-law, Janet and Bev Vickerman; along with many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Jeff Adams and brothers Leo and Wil Vickerman.
