Kincaid, Eld. Venice age-61 passed away Thursday June 7,2018 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday June 22,2018 from the Seventh Day Adventist Church 1379 Louis Ave. Pastor Steve Bramwell officiating. Family and friends will assemble Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, Mi. Family and friends will assemble at the church 10am for visitation. Eld. Kincaid will repose in the Chapel of the Martin J. Banks Funeral Home and may be viewed from 9am until 8pm Thursday. Elder Vince Kincaid was born January 30,1957 in Flint, Michigan to Edward Jr., and Betty. He attended Beecher Community Schools graduating class of 1975.After graduating high school, Vince enlisted in the United States Navy after being discharged from the Navy he relocated to Oklahoma while there he worked various jobs including coaching Little League Baseball. Venice later return to Flint, Michigan he gained employment with Diplomat and RX pharmacies, and General Motors (Truck and Bus). Venice enjoyed working with computers and technology listening to gospel, jazz old school and studying/teaching the word of God. He known his catch phase" If God wasn't in it then he didn't want it.Elder Kincaid was a former member of Eternal Life Seven Day Adventist (FDA) under the leadership of Pastor Paul Musson, while attending Eternal Life Seven Day Adventist Church. Elder Kincaid serviced on several Auxiliaries including Deacon Sabbath School Superintendent, custodian and Community Service Outreach leader while being a faithful servant. Elder Kincaid had a vision. In 2015 the vision became a reality Elder Kincaid and his wife Pearl begin their on- line ministry (Truth vs. Error) though it begins as a text message signature ministry. It became more than a signature ministry. Because Elder Kincaid was a firm believer in Sola Scriptura he seen the truth of what the Bible said Roman 15:6 and Revelation 22: 18-19. Elder Kincaid volunteer in many community services such as, American House for Senior Citizens, the Ruth Mott Foundation, North American Division, Adventist community services, Camp Meeting leader, visiting the sick and shut in he was involved in the Flint Water Crisis. Elder Kincaid leave in God care: wife Pearl, son Jonathan (Marsha) Kincaid of Oklahoma, 2 stepson Deonta (Demetrius) Wells, Samuel Jenkins both of Flint, Michigan 1 stepdaughter Tameka Smith of Columbus, Oh. 1 grandson Christopher Kincaid of Oklahoma 1 step grandson Sy' Kario Jenkins of Flint, Michigan. 4 sisters Claudette Forward, Vicki Kincaid both of Flint Michigan, Tracey Kincaid-Starks of Ellwood, Ga. and Dawn Kincaid-Demond of Long Beach, CA. 2 brothers, Audie Kincaid of Texas, and Mark Kincaid of Phoenix, AZ. 3 uncles. Fred Nickerson of California, Johnnie Walker of Flint, MI. and Ronnie Cohon of Jackson, A host of other relatives and friends including special friends Charles Parker, James Ross and Bobby (Lavern) Leatherman. Elder Kincaid was proceeded in death by parents Eddie and Betty Kincaid, grandparents Gus and Essie Perkins and Miss. Eldene Pearson, aunt Jackie Perkins, uncle K.D Nickerson, Nephew Travis Nickerson and cousin Robert Trumbo. The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Syeh Amed, Melissa, Kim and the 4th floor nurses at Hurley ICC unit, Elder Bramwell and Fair Haven SDA, Pastor Musson and Eternal Life SDA family and friends.
