CHRISTENSEN, Judith Ann – of Montrose, age 72, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan and also at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of mass at 11:00 AM. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church.
Judith was born July 10, 1946 in Flint, Michigan to the late Michael and Lois (Dubuc) Wagner. She grew up in Genesee County and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1964. On May 21, 1966 she married Leslie Christensen in Clio, Michigan at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Prior to her retirement in 1996, she worked for AC Spark Plug-GM as an Assembly Operator with 32 years of service. Judith was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, camping, and gardening. Judith also liked attending the Buckley Old Engine Show and the INA National Insulator Show with her husband Leslie. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband of 52 years Leslie; Children, Frederick Christensen, Brian (Kathryn) Christensen, Tammy (Michael) Walsh ll, Dennis (Melissa) Christensen; Grandchildren, Kyle Christensen, Joel Christensen, Alexander Christensen; Step Grandchildren, Christopher Flowers, Nicholas Walsh; Siblings, Nancy (Dar) Stafford, Michael (Kathleen) Wagner ll; and several nieces and nephews.
