Conlin Paul (Cowboy) Ferrell went home to be with JESUS peacefully June 23, 2013 with His wife of 35 years by His side. Paul was born May 22, 1943 in Charleston West Virginia to Charles & Dorothy Ferrell, who preceded him in death, as did his sister Toby Perkins. He is survived by his wife, Candas Ferrell, and children Tracy (Amy) Ferrell, Amanda (Mark) Grantner, Calvin Ferrell, Alison Ferrell (Stu) and his siblings Gary Ferrell, Ford Ferrell and Patsy Lovejoy. He is further survived by 18 healthy grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many friends. Paul was a member and Assistant Pastor of Vernon Lighthouse P.C. of God for 22 years. He had retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. Paul enjoyed buying and fixing up old houses and cars, riding his three-wheeled bike, sitting on the porch-swing thinking about life and most of all, watching his grandkids play. Any contributions should be made to Candas Ferrell, and sent or delivered to the Vernon Lighthouse Church at 101 Washington St. Vernon, 48476 MI. Memorial Service is to be held at Vernon Lighthouse Church on Wednesday June 26, 2013 from 1:00-3:00pm. |
