TOERPE, Lloyd - Of Grand Blanc, age 81, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
A private graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery.
Lloyd was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 3, 1938, the son of the late Raymond and Miriam Toerpe. He grew up in Chicago and Buffalo, New York. On June 21, 1969, he married Carol Gleason. Lloyd was in the United States Air Force where he became a weatherman and worked in Flint most of the time. Lloyd traveled extensively in the U.S. He collected sports memorabilia, liked old movies and music, especially Dixieland jazz, He also had several cats and dogs as pets.
Surviving are wife, Carol;
sisters, Sally (August) Scimeca and Sandy (Ken);
and brother, Dennis.
