Mary K. Black passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Oliver Woods Assisted Living. Due to the families wishes, there are no services at this time. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel.
Mary Kathryn Sharbonaw was born May 26, 1944 in Port Huron, a daughter of Felix Sharbonaw and Dorothy Carrow. On September 15, 1961 she married the love of her life, Randy L. Black. Mary enjoyed shopping, crafting, gardening and spending time with her family. Prior to her retirement she had worked for Memorial Healthcare making surgical packs for over 10 years.
Mary is survived by her husband, Randy L. Black; children, Roxann (Bill) Black, Scott (Tammy) Black and Renee (Tom) Gay; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Patrick McCrory, Michael McCrory, Cheryl (Bob) McGlinch and Tom McCrory; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sally Smith and Kathy Thelen; father, Felix Sharbonaw. and parents, Dorothy and Patrick McCrory.
