Janice Mae Feighner, age 80, of Flint Township, passed away at her daughter's home surrounded by her family on Monday May 20, 2024 early in the morning.Janice was born in Lorraine, Ohio on April 2, 1944, the daughter of the late Perry and Vera Mae Evans. Janice had a passion for her family and all animals. Janice spent 38 years teaching at West Bendle Elementary, She was passionate about going to church. Janice was the person who would give you the shirt off her back if it would help you.
She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle (Michael) Kramer and Renee (Greg) Palmateer; grandchildren, Trever (Britany) Brown, Madison Ward, Luke and Mason Kramer; great-grandchildren, Kolton Flint, Kennedy, Charlotte, Miriam, and Elinor Brown; beloved dog, Izzy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Feighner, in 2006, brother, Dr. Robert Evans and great-grandson Karson Brown.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Brad Lake officiating.Cremation has taken place. Visitation 12 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
