Roth, Edna M. – of Clio, age 97, died peacefully on October 3, 2024, at Maple Wood Manor in Clio. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 4PM until 8PM at the funeral home and on Friday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contribution to the Clio VFW or Toys for Tots.
Edna was born January 17, 1927, in Flint to the late Herbert and Delight (Lewis) Lince. She attended Kearsley Schools and worked at Curly Coney and Western Union. She married Hazen Roth on May 29, 1948, and together were married 28 years and welcomed 3 sons into the world. Hazen preceded her in death on August 22, 1976. She then shared many years with a special friend CB Johnson until his death. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bunco with friends and going to bingo. Edna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed. The family wishes to extend a sincere Thank You to Maplewood Manor, nurse Lorene and special aid Karen for the wonderful care they gave her.
Edna is loved by her children: Joe (Linda) Roth, and daughter-in-law, Debbie Roth; Grandchildren: Tina Maneke, April (Dave) Badgley, JoLynn (William) Brown, Stephanie Roth, Staci Roth, and Justin Roth; Great grandchildren: Robert Maneke, Steven Maneke, Maxwell Badgley, Annalynn Brown, Cole Fuller, and Mackenzie Fuller; Sister-in-law, Bette Lince. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Hazen Roth; Sons: George Roth, Glen Roth; Parents: Herbert and Delight Lince; Siblings: Dorthy Allen, Earl Lince, Clifford Lince, Gordon Lince and Tom Lince. |
