TUFFORD, Joanne D. – of Thetford Township, age 80, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Medilodge of Montrose. A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be held at 4PM on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 12PM until 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in memory of Joanne’s late husband, Harold Tufford.
Joanne was born February 10, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Madelene (Merritt) Harshman. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1956. Joanne married Harold L. Tufford on February 23, 1957 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death August 12, 2017. She enjoyed crafting, baking and spending time with her family. Joanne also enjoyed spending time at their property in Hale and trips to Florida.
Surviving are: Sons: David (Sheri) Tufford, and Gary (Tammie) Tufford; Grandchildren: Jason Horning, Ashley Tufford, Brenda (Tim) Scharff, and Matthew Tufford; Great grandchildren: Zoey and Chase Scharff; Brother, Ken (Kathy) Harshman.
