GUTHRIE, Donald Rex - Of Burton, age 87, died Monday, June 24, 2019.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-8pm Sunday and 11am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donald was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but lived most his life in Flint, Michigan.
Donald owned his own Auto Repair Station, and then worked for a brewery. He was a Sgt in the Army Korean War before taking employment with Fischer Body GM for 38 years.
Surviving is his beautiful bride of 47 years, Phyllis;
children, Rene Riopelle, Dana Harte-Faircloth (Kirt), Sharyll Hidson(Robert):
grandchildren, Chelsea Hadeway(Shaun), Jacob Bland, Tyler Smith, Parker Munday, Brooke, Ashlyn Riopelle, Autumn Schultz, Shawn Hudson and Robin Hudson;
15 great grandchildren;
and way too many close close friends to mention.
Surviving death of his daughter Dawn Faircloth, son Darren Guthrie and grandson Chad Hudson.
