HAZEN, Frank Ernest – of Flint, MI, age 73, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018. A Funeral Service, with Military Honors, will be held 1 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Douglas Connelly officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 3-8 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 and 12-1 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison Missionary Church, in Frank’s memory.
Frank was born in Sandusky, MI on May 18, 1944, son of the late Roy and Loretta (Mercer) Hazen. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. Frank retired from Buick City in 1993 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Davison Missionary Church.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Teresa Wood-Hazen; 2 children, Barb (Mike) Woody and Frank (Liz) Hazen; 3 step-children, Jay (Elisha) Wood, Marzine (Kristina) Wood and Craig (Tonya) Wood; 9 grandchildren, Miles, Sydney, Ryley, Autumn, Alex, Ashlie, Audrey, Sophia and Kassie; 1 great-grandson, Ayden; 5 siblings, Ruth Chase, Katherine Mills, George Hazen, Richard Hazen and Bob (Cindy) Hazen; special friend, Randy Wenzlick; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Donald Hazen, Doris Schultz, Elwin Hazen, Abner Hazen and Kenneth Hazen.
