TURNER, Billy B. - of Arbela Twp. age 92, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the O'Guinn Family funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 4-8PM and on Thursday from 11AM until time of services at 1PM.
Billy was born June 7, 1924 in Bath Springs, TN to the late Sammie and Blanche (Brooks) Turner. He was a resident of Arbela Township since 1961. He served in the US Army. He married Patty Lair on June 8, 1957. Mr. Turner retired from GM Engine in 1997 with 45 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local#659. He served on the Arbela Twp. Board and was an electrical inspector for the township. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving are: Wife, Patty; Children: David (Mandy) Turner, James (Cheryl) Turner, George (Cindy) Turner, Sheryl Wheeler, all of Arbela Twp.; Grandchildren: Mason Turner, Jessie (Keye) Turner, Haley Turner; Great-grandchild, Adi. He was also preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters.
