WOOLBRIGHT, Sherry L. – of Burton, age 79, passed away June 16, 2017 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Janice Duce officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Sherry was born in Flint, MI on February 12, 1938, daughter of the late Paul and Eva (Schneider) Sawyer. Sherry worked at Fisher Body and SPO in Swartz Creek, serving GM for 28 years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Sherry was a very social person who had many friends. She loved and enjoyed life, making many memories with her countless friends and family.
Sherry is survived by her children, Randy Woolbright of Genesee, Kelly (Bob) Gruver of Wichita, KS and Vickie L Melton of Burton; three grandchildren, Melissa of Wichita, KS, Brandon of Ft. Collins, CO and Taylor of Flint Twp.; two great-grandchildren, Tristian and Ayla; brother, Gary (Janice) Sawyer; sister, Carole (Ken) Gilbert.
