CRANE, Dorothy Louise – of Montrose, age 87 passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Maple Woods Manor surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Bill Crane officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4-8 PM and on Saturday from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Charity of Choice.
Dorothy was born January 3, 1931 in Mt. Morris, Michigan to the late Asa and Zora (Davis) Green. She graduated from Flushing High School with the class of 1949. Dorothy has resided in the Montrose area since 1962. She was a Certified Nurse’s Aide working at Mary James Nursing Home for 18 years and also at Concerned Country Care for 6 years. Dorothy was a member of the Montrose Senior Center. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, walking and family camping trips.
Surviving are: Children, Helen (Andy) Schmid, Carol (Bill) Meek, William (Laura) Crane, Lawrence (Cindy) Crane, Kenneth (Lynn) Crane, Bethany (Tony) Blackmer; 12 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren and one on the way; 1 Great-Great Grandchild on the way.
