CROTHERS, Clark William - Of Flint, age 87, died Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10am Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, Pastor Jon Gildner officiating.
Visitation will be held 9am Saturday until the time of the service at the church.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Flint Central Nazarene Missions.
Clark was born in Flint, Michigan on August 2, 1936, the son of the late Harold and Carrie (Healy) Crothers. He was employed with Farmer Peet's for many years before going to Unique Tool and Die. On September 15, 1956, he married Marylou Eldridge. After retirement, he worked for Cage Field House. He was a member of Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, where he served as an usher and attended Seekers Sunday School Class. Clark was a talented woodworker and was very particular in his craft and supplied his woodworks through many commercial outlets. At church camp, he made certain everyone's camper was set up on Central Hill. Clark had the best work ethic. Above all else, Clark loved his family, especially his grandchildren and “greats”.
Surviving are 2 children, Rosalie "Rosi" Evans and husband Bruce Krol of Davison, Scot and wife Cathy of Union, KY;
grandchildren, Cari (David )Randall, Sarah (Joel) Allen, Rachel (Myranda) Wenger, Caleb (Annie) Evans, Hannah (Ben) Speakman; her beloved granddog, Cooper;
great-grandchildren, Aimee, David and Kimberly Randall, Liam, Olivia and Alexandra Allen, Koltyn Williams, Isabella Evans, Chloe Wykes and Elijah Speakman;
brother, Roger and wife Anita Crothers;
many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marylou and his parents.
