ALLEN, Barbara Jean (Saunders) – of Flint, MI, age 88, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 and 10-11 AM Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home.
Barbara was born in Flint, MI on December 19, 1935, daughter of the late Theodore and Alice (Keefer) Saunders.
Barbara is survived by 2 children, Pam (Richard) Snover and Lee Allen; 6 grandchildren, Casey Snover, Lindsay (Patrick) Coggins, Ashley (Dave) Jones, Andrew Allen, Patricia Allen and Jerid (Katie) Allen; several great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Alice Saunders; husband, Clarence P. Allen; sister, Audrey (Gaetano) Anselmo; 3 grandchildren, Rachel Beamer, Joshua Allen and Denise Snover.
