RATYNSKI, James E. "Jim" - Of Bay City, age 75, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at McLaren-Bay.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Hyacinth Church, 1515 Cass Avenue, Bay City.
Father Rick M. Filary officiating.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday at W.A. Trahan Funeral Chapel, 256 N. Madison Avenue, Bay City. A Vigil Service will be held 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Jim will lie in state at the church 9am Saturday until the time of the Mass.
Jim was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 8, 1943, the son of the late Edward and Romaine Ratynski. On June 10, 1967, he married Mary Kazyak. Jim worked at Saginaw Steering Gear for over 35 years. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Czestochowa (St. Hyacinth) all of his life. Jim was an avid golfer, bowler and enjoyed going to the casino with his wife, especially for several years spending the month of March in Las Vegas.
Surviving are wife, Mary;
son, Brian (Jodie);
daughter, Kelly (Rich) Chapman;
grandchildren, Victoria, Nicole, Nathan, and Ethan;
great-grandson. Berlioz;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Blissett and brother, Joseph Ratynski
