WILSON, Constance “Connie” Marie (Chalut) – of Davison, MI, age 91, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Douglas Osborn celebrant. Entombment immediately following the Mass in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 3-8 PM Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Humane Society of Genesee County or the Alzheimer’s Association, in Connie’s memory.
Connie was born in Flint, MI on December 25, 1926, daughter of the late Arthur and Emilie (Rouselle) Chalut. She was a graduate of St. Mary Parochial School in Flint, MI Class of 1945. She retired from General Motors in 1991 after 26 years of service. Connie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was also the past Vice President of the American Business Women’s Association. Connie was an amazingly devoted mother, taking on the sole responsibility of caring, raising and loving 4 successful daughters. Through her strong character and amazing work ethic, she provided a wonderful life for her family.
Connie is survived by 4 daughters, Pamela (Robert) Gibbs, Angela (Steve) Russell, Cynthia (Michael) Reynolds and Jaclyn Wilson; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Mary) Chalut; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Baby Boy Wilson; sister, Loraine (Dave) Rivett and brother, Rene (Audrey “Pat”) Chalut.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the wonderful staff of Cranberry Park Memory Care Unit for their loving and compassionate care.
The family would also like to thank Connie’s wonderful, caring neighbors, especially Sarah Bain and her dog, Harley.
