KEEHN, Katherine Z. – Of Flint, age 89, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Pius X Church. G3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint,
Father Anthony Strouse officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 1-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the Mass.
Contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries or the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Katherine was born in Ludington, Michigan on September 9, 1928. She was a member of St. Pius X Church. Katherine enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed Cocktail Hour at Pentwater.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Christie Haus, and Gayle Bachman;
son, Jeffrey;
4 grandchildren, Chad (Abby) Haus and Kelle (Nick) Richardson, Greg (Ashley) Bachman and Damian Keehn;
3 great-grandchildren, Michael, Chase and Finn;
and nieces and nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on August 7, 1996 and her mother, Cecelia Stevens.
