WOOD, William III – of Davison, age 83, passed away June 8, 2017 comfortably at home with his children at his side. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held 3 PM Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his home. Bill will be interred at Davison Cemetery with his loving wife.
Bill was born June 23, 1933, son of the late William Wood, Jr. and Thelma Brown. He married Carol Joann Rosin in 1956 and she preceded him in death on June 6, 1999. Bill proudly served his country in the National Guard and worked for GE for 42 years. He loved a number of sports but golf was his true passion. Bill and Carol enjoyed many years at their Higgins Lake Cottage.
Bill is survived by his children, Cynthia Laske, Ronald (Charmette) Wood, Karen Wood; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
