SVINARICH, Virginia L. - Of Flint, age 71, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center.
Visitation 3-6pm Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. There will be no service held.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Virginia was born in Bertrand, Missouri on March 20, 1943. On July 1, 1961, she married Robert G. Svinarich in Flint. Virginia retired from AC Spark Plug and was a member of UAW Local #651. She was also a member of the Eagles. Virginia especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Surviving are husband, Robert;
children, Jacqueline and husband Ted Valley of Flint, Robert and wife Tammy Svinarich of Flint, Brian and fiancé Marija Gatica of Lapeer, Bruce and wife Laura Svinarich of Lapeer, Donald Svinarich and fiancé Darlene of Flint and Deanna and husband Ralph Fink of Flint;
20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren;
sister, Dorothy and husband Ron Watson of Clio;
several nieces, nephews, and many others she adopted.
She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia, father Ishmael, brother Wayne and sister Margaret.
