KENNELLY, Dennis Patrick, - Of Bay and Genesee Counties, age 55, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Per Dennis' wishes, cremation will take place following the service. Contributions may be directed to the family wishes. Visitation 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.Dennis was born in Goodrich, Michigan on July 27, 1960 and was the son of the late Daniel Kennelly, Sr. and Donna Mae Rowe. He married Jonna Nixon on June 15, 2013 in New Lothrop. Dennis graduated from Grand Blanc High School Class of 1979. He was an active Bay and Saginaw County referee, hunter, golfer and fisherman. Dennis was a master of many talents, including carpentry, landscaping, painting and tiling. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Dennis was employed by Covenant Healthcare for 33 years and was most recently employed with Green Hills Golf Course. Surviving are his wife, Jonna; 2 children, Andrea Mae and husband Joe Romo of Grand Rapids and Patrick Charles Kennelly of Melbourne, Florida; 2 step-children, Jamie Leigh Nixon of Chesaning and Shauni Kay Nixon of Saginaw;granddaughter, Stella Mae Romo; 3 sisters, Sandra Winslow of Kokomo, Indiana, Debra Kay and husband Eric Galant of Millington, Jean Annette and husband David Lewis of Burton; father-in-law, John Zolton of Chesaning; sister-in-law, Suk Young Hutchison of Rockwall, Texas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins;granddog, Clyde. He was also preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Don G. Hutchison and Clyde W. Hutchison. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
