Sharon Marie Brown, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at the age of 84 in Saginaw, MI. Born on April 18, 1940, in Flint, MI, Sharon lived a life marked by passion, creativity, and a spirited zest that touched everyone she met.
Sharon is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Walter, with whom she shared countless memories and adventures. She leaves behind a legacy of love and nurturing in her children, Sandra (Dave) Lorencz and Stephen Baliko, her stepchildren, David Brown (Roxann Nichols), and Lisa (Daryl) Slenk, her grandchildren, James (Linda) Dolan, Jake (Mercedes) Dolan, Lindsay Miller (Michael Mancore), Stefan Miller and step grandchildren Kevin and Ashlee Slenk. Sharon's joy was multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Collin and Cassidy Dolan, Brandt and Blayke Dolan, and Miles Mancore. Her life was enriched by their laughter and milestones, and her guidance will be their lifelong treasure.
Preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Baliko, and her stepson Dennis Brown, Sharon's memory will be a guiding star for all who knew her.
Sharon's professional life was characterized by her role as a Deli Manager for A&P / Farmer Jack in Clio, MI, where she was not only respected for her work ethic but also adored for her ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her colleagues and customers alike will remember her for her dedication and the care she put into her craft.
Beyond her work, Sharon had a variety of interests that brought joy to her life and to those around her. She was an exceptional baker, known for her delicious treats that were as much a feast for the eyes as for the palate. Sharon also found great pleasure in spending time at the casino, where her lively spirit and enthusiasm were contagious. Her love for country music was evident in her excitement for concerts, which she attended with an unwavering passion.
Sharon and her husband, Walter, were devoted members of Holy Spirit Parish of Shields, Michigan. Their faith was an important part of their lives, and they found great comfort and community within the parish.
Sharon's vibrant personality was a beacon of joy for her family and friends. Her passion for life was evident in everything she did, and her creative touch added beauty to the world around her. Spirited and vivacious, Sharon approached each day with an infectious energy that will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
As we say goodbye to Sharon Marie Brown, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. Her memory will continue to inspire and bring smiles to the faces of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sharon's story is one of love, laughter, and an enduring spirit that will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
