Age 54 of Owosso passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at Memorial Healthcare.
Funeral Services will be held 10am Wednesday October 26, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Edington officiating. Burial will be at Great Lakes Cemetery on Wednesday at 2pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday October 24 from 4pm to 8pm and Tuesday October 25 from 2pm to 8pm.
Raymond was born February 12, 1962 in Ludington, the son of Raymond Sr. and Sharon Kay (Hall) Gamelin.
He graduated from Bendall High School in Burton and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Raymond liked to play poker at the Owosso Poker Room, and was a D.A.V. member
He married Cheryl Ann Mayer in Flint on November 28, 1981.
Raymond worked at MTA-Flint as a technician.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Cheryl; daughter Rachel (Robby) Brock of Rockford, Michigan; son Joseph (Ellen) Gamelin of Owosso; grandchilden Tyler, Zachary, and Sara Brock, Amelia Gamelin; special closeness Stephen (Rachel), and Elliot Robinson; Greg, Cindy, Lindsay, Nicholas and Joshua Richmond; father Raymond Sr. of Burton; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Rene Mayer of Owosso, sister Arlene Standokes of Oxford, MI; two brothers Mark and David Gamelin of Flint; several nieces and nephews; the Hansard Family; Bea and John Anita and Paul.
He was predeceased by his mother.
