BANDY, Richard V. – of Flint, MI, age 86, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, MI 48506; Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. Burial immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 10-11 AM Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Dick was born in Pontiac, MI on March 23, 1932, son of the late Von and Barbara (Bradow) Bandy. He married Rosalee Rowley in Pontiac, MI on June 6, 1953 and she preceded him in death on December 27, 2014. Dick retired from General Motors after 38 years of service. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Dick enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.
Dick is survived by 3 children, Mark (Marilyn) Bandy, Brian Bandy and Cheryl (Larry) Mitchell; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, RuthAnn (Jim) Diebold; many other loving family members and friends.
