FERGUSON-POLLARD, Dollie L. – of Montrose, age 90, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Birch Run Fields Assisted Living. Honoring Dollie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Dollie was born January 20, 1929 in Parma, Missouri to the late Lucian and Thelma (Ray) Potts. She graduated from Montrose High School. Dollie married Thomas A. Ferguson on September 28, 1987. He preceded her in death December 10, 2018. She was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Dollie was the head of the Hurley Hospital Cardiovascular Unit for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, baking and driving around. Dollie was a hardworking, wonderful mother and brought joy to those around her. Above all, she absolutely loved her two grandchildren, Ty and Ivan Pollard and adored spending time with them along with her great grandson, Ash Pollard. They were her world.
Surviving are: Sons: Tod (Mariella) Pollard, and James F. (Janice) Pollard; Stepdaughter, Cathy Ferguson; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; Sister, Theresa Paul.
