HANSON, McKayla - of Davison, age 30, passed away September 14, 2017 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 4 PM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Mike Lilly officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Friday and 10 AM until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) or Dare2tri Paratriathlon Club.
McKayla was born in Flint, MI on June 16, 1987, daughter of Steven and Elisa (Iversen) Hanson. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 2006, was a graduate of Michigan State University and earned her Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University.
McKayla is survived by her parents; siblings, Erik (Denise) Hanson, Nici (Dave) Swart, Heidi (Mark) McDowell, Lyndsay (Devin) Murphy, Shannon (Cody) Bowen, Michael, Logan, Jacob, Ian, Joey, Deebo, Jackson, Sophia and AnnaLisa Hanson; nieces, Arri, Averi, Olivia, Eliza, Charlie Mac, Ryan and Erin; nephews, Isaiah, Xander, Aiden and Henry; birth mom, Joyce Mielke. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Marie Iversen and Charlene Hanson; birth dad, Rodney Mielke.
