LEWIS, MARGARET ANN – Of Swartz Creek, age 86, died Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Charter Senior Living.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Wally Rose officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Margaret was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 29, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Ignace) Sarka.
On June 20, 1953, she married Donald Lewis in Flint and he preceded her in death in 2014.
She loved to sew; loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Kim (Ray) Lench, Dennis (Karen) Lewis, Mary Williams, Linda (Doug) Rogers and Thomas Lewis;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
brother, John (Jane) Sarka;
sisters-in-law, Frances "Fran" (Frank) Chrastek and Peg Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Gary Lewis; son-in-law, Scott Williams; parents and step-father.
