CHRISTENSEN, Phyllis A. – Of Flint, age 80, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Per Phyllis’ wishes cremation has taken place.

Phyllis was born in Carney, Michigan on October 30, 1935.
Phyllis married William Christensen on August 4, 1957 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2010.
Phyllis graduated from Michigan School for the Deaf and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, the Flint Association of the Deaf, FAD Ladies Auxiliary for 60 years and the U Club for over 40 years.
She always made time to help others; loved playing cards, enjoyed garage sales, doing puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary and husband Ron Wilson, Sandy and husband Tom Myers;
three grandchildren, Sara, Aubrey (Rob) and Madison;
four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Cash, Tenley and Kaisley;
sister, Audrey; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sister and brothers.
Special thank you to her very special friends and the deaf community for all their care and support.
