Dillon, John K. "Jack" - Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died January 9, 2016. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Tuesday January 12, at Holy Family Catholic Church 11804 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 3 until 8 PM Monday with a rosary at 7 PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint. There will also be visitation at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Father Solanus Guild 1820 Mt. Elliot St., Detroit, MI 48207.
Jack was born on July 25, 1926 in Detroit the son of Keith and Alma (Gadberry) Dillon. He married Dolores Shea on December 29, 1951 in Detroit. Dolores preceded him in death on August 10, 2006. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II. He retired from RCA Service Company after 35 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a Father Solanus lifetime member.
Jack is survived by five children; Debra (John) Larson of Gaylord, Karen (Andy) Wolfe of Grand Blanc, Nancy Dillon of Farmington, Keith (Patricia) Dillon of Hopkins, MI, Kevin (Martina) Dillon of Kalamazoo; sister, Patricia Schutzler of St. Clair; Eleven grandchildren: Andy (Brittany) Larson, Kyle Wolfe, Heather Dillon, Caitlin Wolfe, Courtney Wolfe, Ryan Larson, Matthew (Danielle) Dillon, Alicia Dillon, Kristen Wolfe, John Dillon, and Sunshine Wooden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dolores.
