GITTINGS, Donna Grace. – of Flushing, formerly of Gladwin, age 70, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial will be at 2PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in McClure Cemetery, Gladwin Michigan. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-8PM and on Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Donna was born on January 28, 1944 in Hazel Park, MI to the late Walter J. and Susan G. (Floyd) Linton. She married Harold Gittings on September 24, 1966. They enjoyed 48 years together. Donna was a member of Hockaday Free Methodist Church and REACT – (Radio Emergency Associated Communication Teams). She enjoyed crocheting, rummage sales and going to the dollar store. She was known for being quite the bargain hunter. She was also well known for her famous Goulash. Above all, Donna had a love for her family. She was a mother and grandmother to everyone she met and would do everything she could to help anyone out. Donna will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are: loving husband, Harold Gittings Jr. of Flushing; children, Brian (Michelle) Wykoff of Linden, Bethann Clore of Flushing, Karen (Robert) LaPan of Montrose, Berry (Jamie) Gittings of Birch Run, Harold Gittings III of Flushing, Howard (Angela) Gittings of Clio; 15 grandchildren, that will always remember their grandma having candy; 1 great grandson; brother, Earl Linton; Sister, Nancy Reno; Many cousins, nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her son, Alton J. Wykoff in 2000; sister, Lois McCulloch; brother, William Linton.
