FOX, Jack Arthur – Of Flint, age 90, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at Maple Place.
Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Maple Place Assisted Living or Reverence Hospice.
Jack was born in Ionia, Michigan on October 8, 1927, the son of the late Arthur H. and Ruth (Borden) Fox.
Mr. Fox graduated from Ionia High School in the class of 1945.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He attended Davenport College on the GI bill and earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.
He greatly enjoyed golf whenever time permitted, which he said wasn't often, he was busy providing for his wife and children! Jack was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge, Ionia #36 F.&A.M. in 1956 and he was also a charter member of the Ionia Jaycees and a member of the board.
Mr. Fox worked for Nabisco as a sales manager for 38 years and retired in 1988.
He is survived by his son, Steven Fox; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and sister, Joyce of Rockford, MI.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane in 2014, his son, Tom also in 2014; his daughters, Christine Yarmuth in 1989 and Cathy Adams in 2010.
