MCDONALD, Robert James – of Gladwin, age 78, passed away August 9, 2016 at Gladwin Pines. A Graveside Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Pine Grove Cemetery; Pastor Lawrence Gill officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on August 28, 1937. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.
Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen; children, Robert James (Danielle) McDonald II, John Eric “Rick” McDonald, Stephen Patrick (Julie) McDonald, Susann Rebecca (Darrell) Gould; eight grandchildren; brother, Donald McDonald. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence; aunt, Delma Rose and one brother.
