CURTIS, Betty S. – of Clio, age 65, died Friday, July 5, 2019 at Maplewoods Manor in Clio. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Rob King officiating. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 4PM until 8PM and on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael French Ministries.
Betty was born May 14, 1954 in Flint, Michigan to the late Aaron and Alice (Fairs) Conger. She graduated from Clio High School in 1972. Betty attended the Trinity College of Bible Seminary. She married Vernon Curtis on August 18, 1973 at the Trinity Assembly of God in Flint. Betty managed the purchasing of inventory for Home Depot for 10 years, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God for 56 years. Betty enjoyed taking pictures, digital scrapbooking, camping and writing. She also enjoyed playing board games, especially the Great Western Trail. Betty loved traveling throughout the world. She and Vernon have visited all 50 states and many foreign countries.
Surviving are: Husband, Vernon Curtis; Children: Jonathan (Sarah) Curtis and Nicolas (Lacey) Curtis; Grandchildren: Irelyn Curtis, Annie Curtis, Isabella Curtis, Ella Curtis, Charlotte Curtis, Colton Curtis, and Lily Curtis; Sisters: Peggy Hott, Merry (John) Gray and many nieces and one nephew.
