RUGGLES, Douglas James – of Flint, MI, age 49, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at his residence. Per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Doug was born in Flint, MI on January 21, 1970, son of Carole (Perry) Ruggles and the late James Ruggles. He loved “jeeping” on the two-tracks and backroads and enjoyed spending time by the water.
Doug is survived by his fiancé, Karrie Hamilton; daughters, Brittany and Amanda Ruggles; stepchildren, Mychael (Beth Ann) Brown, Betsy Hamilton and Keeghan Hamilton; grandchildren, Ysabellah Ruggles, Zachariah Colon, Mazzie (Princess) and Matthew, Zoey; mother, Carole Ruggles; sister, Elizabeth Williams; nieces and nephews; Kayla, Emily, Nathan, Asheleigh and Aaron. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ruggles.
