GARRETT, Roderick – of Flint, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Cremation has taken place and private family services were held.
Roderick was born in St. Johns, MI on March 3, 1937, son of the late John and Iva (Fisher) Garrett. He was a hard worker who retired from GM in 1991.
Roderick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Garrett; children, Debra (Greg) Dixon of Vassar, MI, Roderick (Debbie) Garrett of Gaylord, MI, Gregory (Regina) Garrett of Mt. Morris, MI, Brad (Tina) Garrett of Flint, MI, Cathy Garrett of Owosso, MI, Michael (Patty) Garrett of Lewiston, MI and Timothy (Kim) Garrett of Mt. Morris, MI; 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, June Helius and Sue (Al) Robinson.
