TRIPLETT, Betty Ileen - Age 90, of Fenton, died Monday, August 1, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Rev. Harold Polk officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Calvary Presbyterian Church or Tanglewood Assisted Living. Betty was born May 5, 1921 in Fulton County, OH, the daughter of Galen and Iva (Collar) Emerick. She married Aaron F. Triplett November 23, 1963 in Burton and he preceded her in death January 4, 1995. She retired from AC Spark Plug after 30 years of service. She had resided in the Flint area most of her life. Betty was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. She also was a member of American Business Women's Association. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and playing euchre. Surviving are: 3 daughters, Charlotte Raymond of Houston, TX, Carolyn Murphy of Grand Blanc and Darlene and husband Dennis Manuel of Fenton; 4 grandchildren, Trent and wife Julie Herman, Todd Herman, Tracy and husband Patrick Kaye, Ryan McFarlane and fiancee Shelley Brackney; great grandchildren, Tara Herman, Casey Herman, Mason McFarlane, Ashley Kaye, Addyson Kaye, Brooke Baldwin, Andrew Baldwin, and Maranda Parenteau; special companion, Hilton Young of Flint.
