Flore, Robert Aurelio - Age 93, of Grand Blanc, died December 28, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Monday, December 31 at Holy Family Catholic Church 11804 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, Fr. Bill Wegher celebrant. Interment 2 PM Monday at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint; and 9:30 AM until the time of mass Monday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Robert was born January 19, 1925 in Flint the son of Charles A. and Mary (Gardella) Flore. He was a 1943 graduate of Flint Central High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Robert married Norma Beaudoin on June 14, 1947 in Flint; she preceded him in death October 20, 2016. He retired from GM in 1987 with 42 years of service. Surviving are: two children, Jacqueline Fletcher of Nobleville IN, Michael (Jillian) Flore of Standish; four grandchildren, Jill (Dean) Remington, Laura Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, all of Indian, Robert Flore of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; 8 siblings; and wife. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
