Judy Ann Relitz, 76, of Lapeer, died Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Judy was born May 20, 1939 in Lapeer, MI to parents Ivan and Rose (Jeffes) Crawford. Judy graduated from Lapeer High School, class of 1957. She was a loving homemaker her entire life. Judy went on to work as a cook for the Lapeer public school system – she worked at Lapeer East High School, Zemmer Junior High School and eventually was the head cook at Elba Elementary. Judy married Keir Relitz on February 14, 1998 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lapeer. Judy was an animal lover but especially loved Gabby (her basset hound) and Minnie (her yorkie).
Judy is survived by her children: Tim (April) Fisher of Lapeer, Tammy (Greg) Schowalter of Davison, Todd Fisher of Lapeer and Tom Fisher of Caro; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Keir; brother, Bob Crawford; grandson Ben Fisher and her parents.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 and 1-4/6-8PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Judy’s funeral will be 11:00am Thursday, June 4, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lapeer - officiated by Pastor John Kaiser.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paradise Animal Rescue, Lapeer.
