Marla passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday evening, January 3, 2018 at McLaren Hospital in Flint. Age 81. She was born February 17, 1936 in Marinette, Wisconsin. Marla married Roger Devroy on August 4, 1956. He preceded her on July 10, 2015. She was employed as a Line Leader at Thompson Boat Co. in St. Charles. Marla was a member of Hope Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed puzzle books, reading, watching TV, Packer Sundays and spending time with family.
Surviving are three daughters, three sons and spouses, David (Tina) Devroy, Sue (Terry) Schlager, Michael (Lisa) Devroy, Ken (Sherrie) Devroy, Donna (Duane) Bilodeau and Lisa (Curt) McGill; 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Nancy Jandt; brother-in-law Jerry (Marion) Devroy and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, mother, Clara Lange, three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at Hope Ev. Lutheran Church, 1120 W. Walnut, St. Charles. Pastor Jason Baldwin will officiate with cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
