LONG, Diana Marie – of Alger, Michigan, age 77, passed away October 19, 2019 at Toni & Trish House in Auburn, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the Toni & Trish House in Auburn, Michigan.
Diana was born January 29, 1942 in Flint, Michigan to the late William and Evelyn (Laetz) Suchy. She grew up in the Beecher area and graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1957. On September 16, 1958 she married Richard Long. Prior to her retirement in 2004, Diana worked for Dr. Abbott as a Medical Biller with 38 years of service. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3851 in Durand, Michigan and also Aerie #4121 in Secord Lake, Michigan. Diana enjoyed sewing, knitting, card stamping, and spending winters in Leesburg, Florida with her husband. She also loved cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: husband of 61 years, Richard; Daughter, Debbie (Brian) Stewart; Grandchildren, Courtney (Clint) Sterbenz, Kayla Stewart; Great Grandson, Colton Sterbenz; Sisters, Dorothy Condon, Shirley (Joe) Daidone; Sister in law, Edna Long; Brother in law, Frank (Whitey) Long; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
