SHOW, John J. - Of Flint, age 87, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Avalon Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. , Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice.
Memorial Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and 12 noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
John was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on January 31, 1925, son of the late John and Emma (Trombley) Show and was a resident of Flint. John was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #706 for 60 years. John was also a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Surviving are wife of 64 years, Mozella;
sons, Dennis (Leslie) and Jim (Daena);
granddaughters, Cassandra (Marc) Kalaf and Melissa and Tiffany Show;
great-grandchildren, Alex, Shawn, Caitlin, Logan and Isaiah Show and Morgan and Madison Kalaf.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Laverne, Virgil and Lloyd.
