MCGLASHEN, Patricia Ann (Lamoreaux) – of Davison, age 93, passed away peacefully November 20, 2024 at The Ridge of Burton. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Jeff Glover officiating. Burial will be in Stiles Cemetery, Lapeer. Visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 3-7 PM, and again on Monday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM.
Patricia was born in Lapeer, Michigan on August 31, 1931, daughter of the late Dewey and Margaret Lamoreaux. She married Dean McGlashen on June 26, 1954, and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2015. After a fulfilling 35-year career as a Home Economics teacher at Davison High School, she retired, leaving a lasting impact on her students. A devoted mother and grandmother, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. In her leisure, she found joy in taking bus trips with friends to the casinos, creating many fond memories along the way.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Mark (Anna Willson) McGlashen and Matt (Manuel Fitzgerald) McGlashen; daughter-in-law, Andrea McGlashen; grandchildren: Kevin (Lisa) McGlashen, Alex (Amanda) McGlashen and Kassie (Frank) Hyde; great grandchildren: Nolan McGlashen, Harlow Hyde, Tyrus McGlashen and Cameron McGlashen, and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by siblings: Betty Bain and Richard Lamoreaux.
