HIBBARD, Timothy Ray "Coach Hibb", loving husband, father, brother, uncle and mentor. - of Birch Run, age 54, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Pastors Jim Hibbard and Jim Wiegand officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2PM until 9PM and Tuesday from 9AM until the time of service. A memorial, in memory of Coach Hibb, will take place at 6PM Sunday evening in the Clio High School Gymnasium. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gofundme - Coach Hibb Memorial Fund.
Tim was born November 16, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Ray and Edna (Lee) Hibbard. He was a 1980 graduate of Fenton High School. Tim married Terri Garcia October 25, 2013 in Saginaw. He was self-employed for many years. Tim was a very active coach throughout Genesee County for over 25 years; coaching football, baseball and basketball throughout the Fenton, Grand Blanc, Linden and Clio school districts. He also coached middle school baseball at Carman Ainsworth. In addition to his coaching, Tim also served as an official for over 20 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, feeding the birds and turkeys and traveling. Tim lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment he was blessed with. His generous and giving nature will live on. Above all, Tim loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Wife, Terri Hibbard of Birch Run; Sons: Jeremy (Erin) Hibbard of Grand Blanc and Josh (Katie) Hibbard of Linden; Daughter, Lacy (Mike) Stebbins of Fenton; 5 Grandchildren: Olivia, Ryder, Jackson, Ella and Tanner Hibbard, plus another grandbaby Stebbins on the way; Brothers: Jim (Carolyn) Hibbard of Camden, Paul Hibbard of Burton, Dewayne (Joann) Hibbard of Fenton; Sister, Vicki Hibbard of Fenton; Many special nieces, nephews and extended family; Mother in law, Mary Garcia, Gene and Pauline Kapp, Emma & David Chantaca, Roxanne Chantaca, Rochelle Chantaca & Jamie LaClair, Sonia Mosqueda & Ruben Silvas, Raquel Rocha & Angel Johnson, Joe & Yolanda Garcia, Louis and Val Garcia, Margaret Huerta, Ruben & Marcella Mosqueda, Cyndi Mosqueda, JT & Rita Truss. Too many more to name because he made and impact on so many.
