WATSON, Ada Ellen - Of Swartz Creek, age 84, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Chaplain Todd Regester officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ada was born in Flint on December 23, 1931, the daughter of the late George and Alma Gleasure and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. Ada was employed at AC Spark Plug for 37 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are son, Tim and Wendy Watson of Swartz Creek;
Grandchildren, Stacey (Jim) Bechtel, Danielle (Bill) Shumaker, Chad Watson and Nicole (Gary) McNally;
Great-grandchildren, Katelynn Lemaster, Josh and Graceyann Bechtel, Thomas, Taylor, Trenton and Tucker McNally;
Ada was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Church, son-in-law, Larry Church, and sister, Velva Ackerman.
