SUHR, Robert - Of Saginaw, age 89, died Saturday, October 5, 2019
at Covenant Health Care Harrison.
A memorial service will be held 4pm Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Elder Carl Hawkins officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 2pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made may be made to UAW Strike Fund.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on January 10, 1930, the son of the late Lee and Luella (Smith) Suhr. Robert was a Union Rep for UAW Local #599 for many years. He was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene for several years. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and tinkering in his garage.
Surviving are fiancee, Judy Hedberg;
Children, Richard (Marie) Suhr, Teresa (Calvin) Williams;
And grandchildren, Eric and Tia.
He was preceded in death by his siblings.
