Federico (Freddie) Alvarado of Davison, age 73, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at McLaren Hospital.
Freddie was born October 11, 1946 in Saginaw Michigan to Joseph and Juanita Alvarado. He married his wife Rose (Helen) on March 7, 1975 and enjoyed 45 years together. Freddie was a proud member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Flint. He enjoyed cooking, bowling, watching western movies, dancing and singing to his wife. He worked for Buick for over 32 years.
When asked to describe Freddie you will likely hear, “He was a great man”. He was a sharp dresser and loved reminiscing of his childhood. He was a good husband and father. He is forever loved, forever missed and will always be part of our hearts.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Rose “Helen” Alvarado, Sons: Tommy DeLeon, Fred Jr. (Jasmine) Alvarado, Rayes DeLeon, Jon (Ann) Alvarado, Louis Alvarado, Pablo (Mia) Alvarado and Edward Maldonado; Daughters: Mary (Eddie) Maldonado, Juanita Alvarado; Bothers: Joseph (Martha) Alvarado, Rudy Alvarado and Robert (Virginia) Alvarado; Sister: Rose (Alfredo) Gomez; Grandchildren; Meagan, Pablo, Victoria, Miguel, Gabriel, Caleb, Tommy II, Carlos, Angel, Alicia, Nina, Presley, Peyton, Paxton, Olivia; Great-Grandchildren: Pablo III, Castiel, Anastasia, Francisco Espinoza and special friends Joe Alfaro and Milo Moreno. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Juanita Alvarado; brother, Paul Alvarado; and great grandson, Francisco Espinoza.
Visitation will take place Friday, August 21, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan from 11AM to 6PM. The graveside service will take place graveside at Crestwood Cemetery, 2020 Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan on Saturday, August 22 at 11AM.
